Call made for sense of community to be ‘rebuilt’ in city centre

A CALL has been made for a sense of community to be ‘rebuilt’ in the heart of Edinburgh, as it recovers from the lockdown response to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The call was made by the outgoing director of heritage body, Edinburgh World Heritage, who is moving to a new job.

Begins Mike Wade, in the Scottish edition of The Times newspaper (here): “Rebuilding a sense of community in Edinburgh’s historic heart should be the city’s priority in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic.”
