Fate of Old Royal High School ‘nearing resolution’

THE fate of the Old Royal High School, on Regent Road, is ‘within touching distance of being resolved’, according to a ‘catch-up’ article in The Herald on Sunday newspaper.

Writes Sandra Dick – in a summary of the building’s fraught recent history: “Edinburgh’s former Royal High School building is on the brink of a new beginning.” She notes it costs £250,000 per year to maintain.

She quotes a Scottish Government spokesperson saying a decision will be made in due course.
